This tool from dentgear gets it's name by the fact that it's a think heavy rod, simple in design yet quite funcitonal.

Designed for driving large dents, the gorilla bar from Advanced Dent Gear is your answer to moving a lot of metal. This 5/8" rod will not flex like a smaller diameter rod when you need to transfer all your strength into the dent and not the bend of your tool. It's not a tool, your likely to use on a daily basis but it's worthwhile having in your cart. You will still want to start the dent a quality tape on the tip of the tool for deep dents.

The manufacturer claims that it also works well on Ford Taurus doors, although I have not tried it in that application.
